Makalidurga, June 2020

In June, we stepped out of home for the first time after staying in for three whole months. We went out for a long drive to this place called Makalidurga, which is around 60kms away from the city. The drive was peaceful and when we reached there, there was no one at all! We stepped out the car, spent some time admiring the view and left after a while. After months of being of being at home, this felt like such a refreshing break.

Adopt the pace of nature. Her secret is patience.

  1. Lovely Soumya - this tree looks like it needed some visitors to admire it and glad it was you. It must have been bliss to drive out for a while. My driving license has expired and I am being very cautious when stepping out these days. Longing to go for a long drive to a scenic spot like this one soon

  2. This must have been such a rejuvenating trip, Soumya!
The tree looks majestic despite it not being like the royal Banyan tree!

  3. First of all, so sorry that you had such a hard time commenting. I don;t know what has gone wrong. I am getting comments from others :(

Coming back to the tree - I love how clean and bright the sky looks. How that tree stands tall. And the landscape. Glad you both were able to get out on a drive. A lot of people are doing that. And it's good as long as people stay safe.

Thanks a ton for joining, Soumya. I hope to see you back on the 27th.

    1. So sorry about it too! Turns out it was a browser issue and once I changed the browser it worked fine.

The drive was peaceful and calm, so was the place.

Skipping this week, Paro. I'll join the next time.
