Home, Bangalore - March 2020

Times aren't good now, but you know what, this too shall pass. Stay safe, stay in, stay positive.

This is a tree I used to see everyday. She stands tall at the entrance of my apartment complex. I hadn't seen her in many many days thanks to working from home and not stepping out. Yesterday, when we went out for a walk (within the apartment walkway), I saw her again. She looked hale and healthy, reaching for the sky, and that made me smile. We'll all survive this together, won't we?

Hard times may have held you down, but they will not last forever. When all is said and done, you will be increased.

Thursday Tree Love is a photo feature on the fabulous Parul's blog hosted on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on April 9th, 2020. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to her post.

  1. Indeed its a time when I have noticed several things around my home that were drowned out by city noise or my busy schedule! Great to reconnect with nature!!

  2. Some of our trees where I live are getting ready to leaf out and the crocuses are finishing up. Soon it will be as green here as in your picture. Being at home (I am working from home, too) has its good and bad, but the good is seeing trees.

    1. Yeah, I venture out once in a while within the complex to look and feel nature.

  3. Yes we shall overcome Soumya! Tight hug and loads of love to you woman! Stay safe and locked in!!! XOXO

  4. Yes, we will! Stay safe, we’ll come through this hopefully wiser and more resilient!

  5. What a lovely name and that tall tree. Loved it! I hope you both are doing well, Soumya!
Hope to see you around tomorrow, Soumya.
