Yippee..!! :D

First my blog gets selected for Word Press. That was enough to thrill me. Next, my post "Murderer" wins their first contest. The poem I wrote as an answer to someones' accusations has brought me so much accolades and happiness. I'm so thrilled and excited. Awaiting my gift now. My friends are all so proud of me and so am I. Cheers to me..!!

Life

What is the meaning of life? “Taking pain,” said the nail. “Keeping cool,” said the ice. “Driving hard,” said the hammer. “Being up-to-date,” said the calendar. “Being sharp,” said the knife. “Making light around you,” said the fire. “Sticking to it,” said the glue. “Being bright,” said the lamp. “Being on time,” said the clock. “Saving a drop,” said the faucet. And best of all, “learning from it,” said the mistake. Don’t be afraid to take chances even if it might get you hurt. So what if you dint win. You atleast tried. Just be strong and accept it because you might miss that single chance that would change your life forever and give you the happiness that you have always wanted.

Whats my Rashee

Just saw "Whats your Rashee ". Nothing much to talk about the movie to be really honest. A good read of Linda Goodman's Sun Signs will do. I read that book quite some time ago and yes, I do believe in astrology. To a large extent infact . Every person is ruled by his sun sign. His/Her characteristics, body language, poise, ambitions, thinking can easily tell what sign that person belongs to. So watching the movie dint make any difference to me. I could have as well as guessed it. Okay, so after watching the movie I did some research on my zodiac sign. The mighty LEO. I'm a true blood lioness. From the name of my blog to the tattoo I'm gonna get all is gonna be Leo. One look at me and people can guess that I'm a Leo. A gist of Leo : Leo the celestial lion is the sign that rules the heart. That part of our anatomy in which it is said, many of our highest virtues reside. The Leo woman is the embodiment of honour loyalty, faithfulness, and trust when at her best,

No BIG Deal

Has it ever happened that you have craved for something and waited impatiently for it happen, but when it does happen you think its no big a deal. Well, oflate only such things have been happening to me. I donno if something is wrong with me, or this is how it has always been. Its something like birthdays you know. You wait for an entire year for the day to come and when it does its like so what, nothing special. Hmmm kinda gets scary. It sometimes feels like been here done that kinds. So nothing else now has an effect on you. When you have always wanted something, there should be a joy when you get it right. I did, and it made no difference what so ever. I thought that I'll be jumping up and down, or throwing a party, or shouting out from the roof tops but all I could manage was a "Cool". Hehe... :-). Maybe there are much better things in life.

Blew

I had seen 'BLUE' last weekend. And it took me more than a week to come up with words to describe it. The beginning is pretty good. The locales are simply breathtaking. Bahamas is one place I would surely love to visit before I die. They say that an average of 100 crores has been spent on this movie. It shows. The under water scenes are outstanding. This one would have been a blockbuster had it not lacked one thing: Screenplay. There is no story what so ever. I guessed the climax of the movie half an hour after the start. And that automatically makes a movie boring. The movie could have been really better if atleast the dialogues were in place. In midst of a shooting sequence, Lara blurts out "Goli math chalao, Baat cheet se sab hal hosakta hai". I was like what the f***. Am I watching a movie in the 80's. The music is actually good, considering the fact that it is Rehman the genius. The starting credit song is simple n nice. 'Aaj dil Ghustakh' is very cat

Someone

My hundredth post had to be special. As 'Dil toh pagal hai' said, "Somewhere someone is made for you". Somewhere Someone is very proud of you Someone is thinking of you Someone cares about you Someone misses you Someone wants to talk to you Someone wants to be with you Someone hopes you aren't in trouble Someone is thankful for the support you have provided Someone wants to hold your hand Someone hopes everything turns out all right Someone wants you to be happy Someone wants you to find them Someone is celebrating your successes Someone wants to give you a gift Someone thinks you are the gift Someone hopes you are not too cold, or too hot Someone wants to hug you Someone loves you Someone wants to lavish you with small gifts Someone admires your strength Someone is thinking of you and smiling Someone wants to be your shoulder to cry on Someone wants to go out with you and have a lot of fun Someone thinks the world of you Someone wants to give you everything you w

Believe

The first time I heard this song was about 8-10 years ago. But it only seems to make sense now. God bless you Cher, Amazing piece of work.!! No matter how hard I try You keep pushing me aside And I can't break through There's no talking to you It's so sad that you're leaving It takes time to believe it But after all is said and done You're gonna be the lonely one Do you believe in life after love I can feel something inside me say I really don't think you're strong enough Do you believe in life after love I can feel something inside me say I really don't think you're strong enough What am I supposed to do Sit around and wait for you Well I can't do that And there's no turning back I need time to move on I need a love to feel strong 'Cause I've got time to think it through And maybe I'm too good for you Do you believe in life after love I can feel something inside me say I really don't think you're strong enough Do you beli

Oh!! So Hrithik

Just saw a promo of 'Kites' last night. If it was possible I would just hunt down Hrithik and eat him. Ohhh man.. He's smoking hot. I have always found him sexy right from his 'Kaho na Pyaar hai' days. Later he seemed to lose his charm. Then he came with a bang in 'Dhoom 2'. He's super amazing. The perfect Indian metrosexual male. Ohh man I just cant stop gushing about him. How on earth can any one be soooo goodlooking and be so modest inspite of that. His formal suited look in last months GQ magazine was so so so gorgeous. His pointed chin, extra long nose, super short torso n super long legs. They are so imperfect but that just adds to his perfection. His portrayal of Akbar in 'Jodhaa Akbar' was breathtaking. I have seen the movie thrice already. But 'Kites' seems to be a entire new story. His look is to die for in that. The perfect cuts in his abs is any woman's dreams and every man's envy. Barbara Mori seems to be having a lot

Lyrical

Had never listened to the song 'Jhonkaa hawa ka' from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam so clearly before. Its simply amazing. The lyrics are mind blowing. Having said that do we now have any song that has meaningful lyrics. Hardly a few. Music is supposed to capture the soul, not make it cringe. Here a few of my favourite recent songs which has some great lyrics. 1. Tujh me Rab dikhta hai - Rabne bana di jodi 2. Pehli baar mohabbat - Kaminey 3. Haafiz Khuda - Tasveer 8x10 4. Aaj din chaddeya - Love Aaj Kal 5. Iktara - Wake up Sid 6. Rehna tu - Delhi 6 7. Aare Aare - Newyork The worse lyrics for me still remains, Dil dance maare from Tashan.

Refreshing

Just saw 'Wake up Sid' after work today. After a long time seeing a fresh new story. All the bollywood movies so far has been only mush mush. Minus Kaminey ofcourse. But 'Wake up Sid' has its heart in the right place. Not extremely good, but it feels nice that bollywood is open to change. In my mind I couldnt figure out anyone else who could play the lazy bum Sid, better than Ranbir. After the casanova act in 'Bachna ae Haseeno', he eats, breathes and drinks the character Sid. I have always felt that he looks very feminine, more so like his mother. Pansy, you can say. But his act in this movie is extreme fun. You can identify yourself with him easily. Konkana is superb. Her eyes speak volumes. She is one of the finest actress we have in our industry. The non sexual love story just warms your heart. Rahul Khanna in his brief role looks hot..!! But I don't understand his need to play the loser. After 'Love aaj kal' this one too. A special mention has t

Him'Ace' Bhai

"Mann ka Radio bhajne de zara, Gham ko bhulkar jeele tu zara". Why would you want to torture us with your voice Himesh? Why? Even after receiving more than enough flak for your movie 'Karzzzzzz' ( I hope I got the number of 'z's right ), you still want to act in movies. Man thats quite some optimism you have eh. Just one question, while singing the above mentioned song, where on earth are you looking? God save you and your fultu attitude.

I'm Alive

The last week was one of the worst week of my life. Stressful work, problems with friends, no rest and fever. I barely had time for myself or for my family. Its been more than a year since my breakup and I used to feel that it is the end of my life. I ignored all the positives and highlighted the negatives and based my life on it. I went into a cocoon and alienated myself from my family and friends. I was like no him, no life. Cant believe I thought like that. Today dad sat me down and asked me what was bothering me. When you are low and someone asks you something, you obviously blurt it out. I told my dad about everything. I was sobbing in his arms when he just told me one thing. "This is life kid, and you are my daughter. You are not allowed to give up this easily". I was like wow. My daddy is the best. My parents without a doubt are the most coolest in the planet. I have no time limits to get back home, I can go wherever n whenever I want, I can wear anything I want or get
