Hope

An encouraging hug,

A comforting smile,

Enough to bring in hope,

To last for quite a while.

The colour of the sky,

Or the voice of a bird,

Hope is just like this,

And soon will be heard.

Always think broad and not narrow,

If you want to have a better tomorrow,

Hope is the only prayer,

Which for now, can reduce your sorrow.

It may not assure success,

But it surely does reduce the pain,

Hoping against all odds,

Is like drought sprinkled by rain.

Bad days are gone,

Good ones are on their way,

Hope a little, and a little do pray,

Light will soon fill your day.

Believe in yourself,

Never give up in vain,

Hope is the catalyst,

That will make you smile again.
