The Golden Palms Hotel & Spa, Bangalore - July 2019 |
Why do we work so hard to fit in, when we were born to stand out?
In a place where everything is beautiful, it takes a lot to stand out on your own. I saw Celeste when my team at work went to a resort for an outing. The place was gorgeous and everything around was sparkling. Right in the middle of the pool stood a tree that was oblivious to its surroundings. She stood tall, almost like reaching for the stars. On her own.
Sometimes it is best when we work alone. For that, it is very important to know our self-worth. Let us learn that from Celeste.
**Celeste: Heavenly.

Just seeing all those palm trees makes me happy! They don't grow were I live and to me they mean "vacation".
ReplyDeleteDitto with me! But we have it in plenty as "decor" in most places in the city, so it is pretty common but such a pretty sight!
DeleteLove Celeste and what she stands for. What a lovely capture and profound thought.

DeleteWow! I wonder how they managed they protect the tree when building the pool!!! Great work! And now the tree is such an inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteI wondered the exact same thing when I saw it! No matter how they did it, I'm glad they saved it!
DeleteOh I love how you call it a 'she'. And the tree personifies that quote so perfectly.
