In one way or the other

So many roles you have to take up

Of daughter, sister, wife and mother

You toil from dusk to dawn

In every way that you can

Strength is not only muscle power

Don't compete with another woman or man

It is not easy to be a woman

You are judged day after day

And yet you survive and fight

To be heard for the things you say

Don't let anyone tell you

That you are not enough

Show them the real you

The one who is fierce and tough

Let's pull each other up

Without feeling a need to point it out

If we hold hands and walk together

Equality we'll achieve no doubt

Let us find the way ourselves

And then help others see 

Inspire one woman, then another

Together, we can all be

Dear women, thank you for being you

For everything that you do

For being a super hero each day

At work and at home too

Don't settle, never settle

Give life to your aspiration

In one way or the other

You will always be an inspiration
